Seductive Actress Roped In For Item Number

Seductive actress Shriya Saran is going to shake legs for the item song in the upcoming cop drama ‘Nakshatram’ under the direction of Krishna Vamsi.

Shriya has won millions of hearts with her glamour and performance in recently released historic drama “Gautamiputra Satakarani” starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. She has also done some special songs including the ones in Pawan Kalyan’s “Puli”, Venkatesh’s “Tulasi”, Prabhas’s “Munna etc.

Apparently, the actress was approached for the item song in the action-drama and was impressed with the song’s concept and peppy tune. The Gopala Gopala actress instantly agreed be a part of it.

A source close to the unit revealed, “Director Krishna Vamsi was considering an actress who can dance well and at the same time be expressive. Shriya felt like the perfect name and hence was roped in.” Shriya, who is currently shooting for Balakrishna’s untitled film, being directed by Puri Jagannadh, will join the sets soon. The special song will be shot during the mid of this month informed the makers with which the entire shoot will be wrapped up.

Shriya is a sizzler who can make fans go crazy with her raw sex appeal. Krishna Vamsi is known for canning songs in the most romantic possible way. As the creative director has now teamed up with one of the hottest actresses, expectations on this song will be huge. Krishna Vamsi has been in hunt for a lead actress for the item song and he locked Shriya Saran finally.  

Nakshatram is said to be a mass action entertainer and Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Sai Dharamtej, Pragya Jaiswal are the lead actors. Nakshatram is busy with the post-production work and with many releases in May, the makers are in plans to release the movie during June this year. It is being produced under the banner of Sri Chakra Media, Butta Bomma Creations and Win Win Win Creation whereas the music is scored by Mani Sharma.
