Mithun Chakraborty Takes One Month Break, Flies to LA

Bollywood Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty is not well. It's been long time since the actor has been missing in action.

The dancing legend was not even part of 'Dance India Dance' leaving his fans worried and curious. His manager has now confirmed the bad news that the veteran actor is not keeping well and is resting in Los Angeles.

Speaking to the media, the manager, Vijay said, "Dada is unwell and not in Mumbai. He is not using his phone and has decided to rest himself in Los Angeles for at least a month. It's been nearly two weeks now since he flew out, and he will return only by end of this month."

"Dada also had a hairline fracture in his back, but thankfully he doesn't need a surgery," he added.

Mithun's back problems apparently started when he got hurt on his back in a stunt for the Imran Khan-Shruti Hassan starrer 'Luck' in 2009. In a scene, Mithun had to jump from a helicopter due to which he got hurt his back after mistiming his jump.

Vijay revealed, "Dada mistimed his jump and thereafter his back started giving him too much trouble."

He was last seen on the big screen in the Sonakshi Sinha-starrer 'Akira', has aggravated his health condition by being a part of many action sequences. Now, he's taken time out to recuperate in the relative anonymity of LA.
