Superstar Mahesh Babu has decided to adopt his ancestral village, Burripalem from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. This update was revealed by Mahesh's brother-in-law, Jayadev Galla, who is also the Guntur member of Parliament. Further, Jayadev added that Mahesh wants to make Burripalem a smart village provided with better facilities.

The adoption of village is one of the pet projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has appealed to politicians and celebrities to be part of the development. Recently, comedian Ali has revealed that Mahesh Babu donates a considerable amount of his remuneration towards social work and with this fresh update, Mahesh proved why he is the off-screen hero too.

Well, Mahesh is doing the same as what Superstar Krishna did when he was ruling the Tollywood. Apart from entering politics, Krishna contributed towards the development of his native village and it was widely appreciated.
