Charan is truly bringing his dad Chiru alive in films, going by his choice in scripts. The empty space left by Chiranjeevi when he declined from new films is being filled by his son in more ways than one. Until now, Charan danced to dad's popular hit songs in his films, albeit remixed ones. Now, it's heard that he might bring Chiru's magic alive in a film called Chota Mestri.

One look at Mestri and the yesteryear's hit film Mutha Mestri pops into the mind. Buzz is that Sampath Nandi has an entertaining script for Chota Mestri, which can showcase Charan well. The director is currently busy with the pre-development stages of Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh 2.

This comes as a relief to Charan and Chiru fans alike, who have been worried about the actor's director preferences. It is rumored that Charan is picking up directors who have talent but haven't scored a hit for a while. Nevertheless, he did promise to correct his mistakes at the Toofan audio launch and emphasized the importance of a good script.

Sampath Nandi may work with Charan after the completion of Gabbar Singh 2. It would be interesting to see whether another hit song of Chiru from Mutha Mestri will be remixed. Meanwhile, all eyes are on the actor's Yevadu, which is possibly going through some changes despite Dil Raju insisting there will be none. The film is coming out in December with high hopes pinned on it.
