Manchu Manoj has a film ready for release. For good or for bad, the film's release date had been fixed for the second week of September. After overcoming a minor tussle over the launch of the trailer, all work on Potugadu is now complete, barring a few finishing touches in post production.

Audio of Potugadu was also received well by the audience, laying the foundation for a good reception at the box office. The film is a remake of a proven Kannada hit Govindha Namaha.

Directed by Pawan Wadeya and produced by Lagadapati Sirisha Sridhar, Potugadu's casting also includes Simran Kaur Mundi, Anu Priya Goenka, Sakshi Chowdary and Rachel, all of whom will romance Manoj. The film is gearing up for a release on 13th September.
