Film-maker Ram Gopal Verma will again get into the underbelly of the underworld in his upcoming next – Satya 2, the sequel to his J D Chakravarthy and Urmila Matondkar starrer Satya, released in 1998.
The sequel would be about a man who would reinvent the underworld, tweeted the filmmaker recently.
"'Satya' was a man who came in 1998, got into the underworld and died. Satya 2 is about a man who comes in 2013 to reinvent the underworld," he tweeted.
"'Satya 2' is about a man whose thinking starts where all the earlier real life dons like Dawood Ibrahims and Chota Rajans' thinking ended," the filmmaker signed off.
With this yet ambitious project, Ramu would attempt to make a film that would go beyond the customary underworld life and thoughts, as Bollywood is wont to seeing.
