Star prices and costs are ludicrous!

Acting genius, Naseeruddin Shah, who has always been frank as an actor  perhaps because of the breath of fresh truth which he spreads in a moment while everything is controlled by the right usage of words.

While Talking about the future of Bollywood cinema, the actor expresses that the distinction between art films and commercial cinema has been somewhat blurred with film like Gangs of Wasseypur and Delhi Belly. But it's still very much there. While he also says that it's the big film and small film nowadays. Let's just put it that way.

The big film he fear is headed in the self destruct direction having costs getting laughable. This boom has to explode, the way it happened in Hollywood in 1960 with a film called Cleopatra. When it cost 25 million dollars to make that film which at that time was the most expensive film ever made and it blew up in their face having a couple of studios closed down.

As a matter of fact, it was rescued by a small film called Easy Rider made with hand made cameras and which rescued Hollywood. Mr Shah added on that he is afraid something like that will happen because star prices and costs are a utter wastage.

Moreover, while giving his views on the wild excitement behind the 100 crore club, he says that  the greed has finally come out into exposure.

And that, it's fine that at least it has come to exposure when  all are talking about 100 crores, which he don't know as to why.

As the fact remains, we have been talking about 100 crore for last 100 years!

No wonder how many zeros we add to our fee, quality is the king! And one must seriously look into it , giving it an equal priority!
