Kamal Haasan starrer Viswaroopam has triggered a newcontroversy as Kamal was all set to release this movie on satellite networks such as Airtel and other DTH operations. The buzz states that Kamal entered into a deal with DTH operations for Rs. 50 crore over the same. When one of the distributors in Tamil Nadu got to know about this plan of Kamal Haasan, got panic and apparently approached all other distributors. He reportedly demanded Kamal Haasan not to release this movie on DTH networks on the release date.

If the same thing happens, then they would not even let the movie theatres to screen this movie, apparently warned the distributor. So far no movie was released on DTH, and in case Viswaroopam releases on DTH, then this movie will enter into the records of Indian Cinema. One has to wait and watch whether this movie would be simultaneously released on TV or not.
