The dusky beauty with a husky voice-Rani Mukherjee-who once set the Bollywood screen on fire is all best to big screen after a short gap. And this time, Rani would be seen in a different role in a Marathi film. Notably, this happens to be the first Marathi debut of Rani Mukherjee. Named Aiyyaa, this film even co-stars southern actor Prithviraj.  The story revolves around a Marathi girl falling for a Tamil artiste.

Directed by Sachin Kundalkar, Aiyyaa is all set to hit theatres on October 12. The teaser of this film was out recently and it shows Rani-for the first time-shaking her legs in unique way besides attracting the people with her belly dance. Rani and belly dance? You must be wondering right. Well, the credit also goes to noted choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, who reportedly wanted Rani to perform belly dance. It came out well but Rani Mukherjee has apparently copied some regular moves of Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. When asked about the same, Rani said she imitated Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in Aiyyaa since she was a big of the trio and so was the director Sachin Kundalkar.
