Chiru hands over Allu Ramalingaiah Award to Bharani

Multifaceted actor who predominantly appears in comedy roles, Tanikella Bharani received the prestigious Allu Ramalingaiah National Comedian Award in Hyderabad on Monday. Megastar Chiranjeevi-despite his busy schedule presided over the function and handed over this award to Mr. Bharani. Other successful film personalities such as Allu Aravind, Brahmanandam, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan were present in the programme.

It may be noted that Allu Ramalingaiah, the father-in-law of megastar Chiranjeevi, was a legendary comedian who marked a special place in the history of Indian Cinema. In memory of late Allu Ramalingaiah, this award was instituted long back. So far comedians such as Johny Lever and Brahmanandam received these awards.
