Actor RaNa today dismissed as rumours news reports that he has abandoned actress Shriya Saran for the sake of romance with Bipasha. “First of all, I was not meeting Shriya regularly and where is the question of breaking up with her” he asked

The southern media never talked of a relation between them though they knew each other for the last eight years, he said and added that the present rumour was manufactured in Mumbai. “Shriya is one of the few friends I have in Mumbai and when ever I visit here, I spend some time with her,” RaNa told media persons in Mumbai this morning.

RaNa’s grandfather Rama Naidu and father Suresh Babu have reportedly questioned the upcoming hero on the reports of his having an affair with ‘Dum Maro Dum’ co-star Bipasha Basu. Of course, RaNa vehemently denied the news reports and convinced his elders that they are only rumours.

The family now feels that some people in the film unit have been resorting to this cheap publicity against RaNa and the young actor is really innocent.
