Well known movie actress Yamuna, who acted as heroine in several Telugu, Tamil and Kannada movies and presently busy with assignments in some TV serials, was caught red-handed by Bangalore Task Force police while she was involved in prostitution on Thursday.

The task force police team, led by special officer Krishnam Raju and Assistant Commissioner of police Alok Kumar, arrested Yamuna, one Mr Venugopal, proprietor of a Bangalore based software firm and another person who brokered the deal between them.

On a tip off, the task force teams raided the seven-star Sapta Tara Hotel, the costliest hotel of Bangalore and South India at 9.45 pm Thursday night and took them into custody. The teams are on the look out for some other key persons who have been organizing the hi-tech prostitution rackets with the involvement of film stars.

Yamuna was introduced to the Telugu audiences through the super hit movie ‘Mouna Poratam’ produced by media baron Ramoji Rao some years ago and her other hit movies included ‘Mamagaru’ and ‘Puttinti Pattucheera’.
