The pastimes of Tainted Tollywood producer C. Kalyan, alleged to have had close links with Bhanu Kiran, the suspected killer of faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri, are coming out one by one every day sending a shocker to police.

Hyderabad based Shalimar Videos proprietor Ashraff today lodged a complaint to the Hyderabad Central Crime Station( CCS) that Kalyan cheated him to the tune of Rs.99 lakh in the name of video rights of a Tollywood movie.

Ashraff in his complaint said that Kalyan took Rs.99 lakh from him promising to get him the video rights of a movie but when he failed to keep the promise, he demanded his amount back. “When I demanded my money back, he threatened me and my staff with dire consequences,” his complaint said.

CCS sources said that they will book a case against Kalyan after going through the proof submitted by the complainant Ashraff.
