
Star director SS Rajamouli-directed Tollywood blockbuster movie ‘Magadheera’ created a record of sorts when it had completed screening of 600 days at Lakshmi theatre in Kurnool town on Wednesday.
It is perhaps first time in the history of Tollywood for a movie to complete as many days of screening in a single theatre in any town in the state.
The movie started showing in 1000 screens across worldwide on July 31, 2009. The producers reportedly spent around a budget of Rs. 38 Cr on production of the movie and till date, it has collected 120 crores, according to sources.
The movie, made with a technical excellence using the expertise of Hollywood technicians, bagged nine Nandi Awards last year and catapulted the stardom of youngster Ram Charan Teja to dizzy heights.
