‘Natasimham’ Nandamuri Balakrishna today visited the Lord Shiva temple at Sri Kalahasti in Chittor district and offered prayers along with his family members. He also held special pujas for Rahu-Ketu as suggested by his astrologers.
After completing the pujas at the temple, Balakrishna told journalists that he would fully support the agitation being carried out by the TDP demanding justice to the rain-ravaged farmers in the state. Farmers should be adequately compensated for the crop losses, he said.
Balakrishna’s visit to the Sri Kalahasteeswara temple gains significance as it comes a few days ahead of his new movie ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ being scheduled to release for the Sankranthi festival.
When journalists asked him questions on his new movie, the film hero said he is hopeful of the ‘Paramaveera chakra’ becoming a big hit like his earlier film ‘Simha’.
