Prince Mahesh Babu, who did not act till now in any Bollywood movie, carries a commendable following among the Bollywood audiences also, according to a survey conducted by a famous daily.

The daily took opinion poll from the Hindi audiences on the popularity of the Bollywood celebrities but included in the celebrities the name of Mahesh Babu also in the survey along with Surya, Vikram and Siddharth who acted in some Hindi movies.

To the pleasant surprise of everyone, Mahesh Babu gained more votes than these three heroes though he did not act in a single Hindi movie till now. He got 12th place as other Bollywood heroes retained the top spots.

In fact, everyone thought that Surya will retain the top spot among the four south Indian heroes but contrary to that Mahesh led all of them with the 12th place. Surya, Vikram and Siddharth stood well behind him in the opinion poll. In the heroines, Genelia stood first among all South Indian heroines in terms of popularity.
