Who will be the leading lady of Venky for his forthcoming Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Bodyguard’? Will it be Nayanatara or Priyamani?
The makers of the film, being directed by Gopichand Malineni of the ‘Don Seenu’ fame, have been considering the two Malayalam girls for the lead lady role in the film but have not yet decided on the final choice.
Irrespective of the choice of the makers of the film, Venky has openly opted for Nayanatara who acted in the original version of the film. The chemistry between Venky – Nayanatara worked well when they paired together in ‘Tulasi’ and ‘Lakshmi’, which turned out to be highly successful at the box office.
However, it is doubtful whether Nayanatara will accept the offer as she will wed the actor-director Prabhu Deva in June.
In case Nayanatara finally rejects the offer from the makers of the film, Priyamani will be their obvious choice. Sources said that Nayanatara has sought time to take a decision on the offer in the wake of reports that Prabhu Deva is forcing her to act in movies as he did not like losing big money.
