WhatsApp Working On Fingerprint Authentication:- WhatsApp is one of the most used messaging chat application all over the globe. Facebook owned WhatsApp is now working on fingerprint authentication feature to bring more protection for the chats of the users. Once this feature gets enabled, the users will be required for fingerprint authentication to open WhatsApp app. The tests are currently on and the feature is currently under development in Beta for Android 2.19.3 version.

A report said that WhatsApp fingerprint authentication feature is currently developed on Android and will be out soon. What's so special is that this feature will be available in the application under a new section to protect the chats. The user should authenticate his identity to open WhatsApp application. This will protect the entire application and cannot be used to lock specific conversations. This WhatsApp feature will be available for Android users initially and will later be developed or iOS users.
