Australia win a nail-biting contest

Australia pulled off a remarkable victory against England in the second one day of the bilateral series. Thanks to allrounder James Faulkner who again stood up with the bat. His 69 of 47 balls made Australia chase a huge total of 300 in the score card with three ball remaining.

England won the toss and elected to bat first. Though they lost quick wickets, Ian Bell, Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler made sure of posting a decent total. In this process, Morgan scored sixth century in his career. Batting second Australia too did not have good start. Aussies lost wickets are crucial sessions but Glenn Maxwell and Faulkner kept on the chase till the end. Yet again Faulkner proved as a match winner and was rewarded with Man of the Match award.

Australia lead the 5 match series 2-0. England are yet to taste a win in this tour.
