Serbia's Djokovic crushed the hopes of Britain's Andy Murray to win the 2011 Australian Open Title. The third Djokovic outclass Murray in Australian Open Final, britain's Andy Murray, 2011 Aus Men's open, second major title seed, Djokovic beat the fifth seed, Andy Murray 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 in a non-thriller played at Melbourne. This is the second grand title for Djokovic. In the process, he improved his personal tally with Murray to 5-3. Djokovic and Murray's combined passion for the game grew on the basis of their love of football. The two 23-year-olds, born a week apart, contested the first grand slam final without the dominant pairing of men's tennis since Djokovic beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at Melbourne Park in 2008 to win his first major title.

Sunday's title finish was England's 75th attempt for the Aus Open Title.

Djokovic's father desired him to become  a soccer player or skier but Djokovic earned his reputation in the game of tennis.
