U Mumba Bounced Back Against Dabang Delhi KC; Beat Delhi 27-25

Dabang Delhi’s last stage counter attack against U Mumba could not provide them a win and they lost 25-27 in fourth edition of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday.

U Mumba’s Rishank Devadiga performed well in the game and steered his team to a victory. Before that raiders of both the team could not managed to score points from their respective raids until Anup Kumar successfully raided Dabang Delhi and provided a close lead of 6-5 to his team. Dabang Delhi, was leading at the end of the first half by 14-12 thanks to some good play by Kashilling Adake.  

In the second, U Mumba tried to open strongly but could only managed to level the score when 15 minutes were left in the game. While Devadiga was scoring points during raids, Deepak Narwal, on the other hand, emerged as successful in only 1 raid out off 11 attempts. Devadiga scored a super raid in eighth minute of the second half and brought his a bit close to the victory.

At the Delhi counter outstandingly by filling the deficit from 17-21 to 25-27  at the end. but they could not get a win after that as their dreams were punched by U Mumba’s skipper Anup Kumar who scored in his final raid and clinched the victory.

With the win, U Mumba have reached 3rd spot in the rankings with 11 points, while Dabang Delhi KC dropped down to 7th spot with 4 points in pocket.
