Telugu Titans Beat Bengaluru Bulls 32-24

With the help of raiders’ strong performance and a good support from the defense Telugu Titans defeated Bengaluru Bulls 32-24 in Match 29 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League 2016 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday. In the points table, Telugu Titans are now at 4th spot with scoring 24 points in 4 wins of the total 8 games, while Bengaluru Bulls are at 6th spot by winning 3 games in total of 8 and bagging 20 points.

Throughout the match, the intense the hunger to win the match can be seen in the players of both the teams as Mohit Chillar taunted star raider Rahul Chaudhary and Titans’ defense tried to disturb Rohit Kumar.

In the first half, star raiders Nilesh Salunke and Rahul Chaudhary’s consistent raids and with the help of Bulls’ defense Titans went on to make the 10 points difference when 10 minutes were remaining to finish the first half. Surender Nada countered back at the 11th minute when he shockingly threw Rahul Chaudhari out of the game. From Bengaluru Bulls, Rohit tried his hard to score points as Bulls were struggling to with 9-point difference. Surender Nada, on the other hand was playing outstandingly and scored few back to back raids after Rohit Kumar was thrown out of the game. However, Rohit tried to bring his ream back in the game by scoring a super raid just before the half time, but it was not enough for Bulls as the scoreline read 10-16 in favor of Titans when both the teams went for lunch.

Titans scored to raid points at the initial stage to make the lead more rigid in the seconf half. As Bulls were trailing by 12 points, they scored their first all out and a young player Ashish Kumar Sangwan along with Rohit Kumar started to counter from Bengaluru Bulls. However, their efforts went in vain, when Mahalingam’s super tackle threw Rohit Kumar out of the game at 36th minute. Getting a feel of a huge loss, Bulls played defensively and to their support, Titans also started to play slowly despite wanting to get a bonus point. In the last minutes, all Titans had to do was to defend Prapanjan from making the raid, however Prapanjan successfully raided, but, eventually it was Titans who won the match convincingly.
