Gautam Adani Emerges as the World's Second Richest Businessman:- Gautam Adani is now the second richest person of the world according to the Forbes. He surpassed Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Louis Vuitton's Bernard Arnault. The net worth of Gautam Adani is said to be 154.7 billion USD and Elon Musk remains as the richest person of the globe with a net worth of 273.5 billion USD. Gautam Adani overtook Arnault to reach the third spot and was behind Musk and Bezos. Arnault is now in the third place with a net worth of 153.5 billion USD. Bezos stands fourth with a net worth of 149.7 billion USD and his wealth declined by 2.3 billion USD while the wealth of Arnault dipped by 4.9 billion USD.
India's richest businessman Mukesh Ambani is in eighth place with 92 billion USD. Gautam Adani heads Adani Group and has seven publicly listed companies in mining, energy, infrastructure and other sectors. Adani Group invested heavily in several new industries like airports, cement, data centers, copper refining, green hydrogen, roads, solar cell manufacturing and petrochemical refining. Gautam Adani is now in plans to enter into the telecom space and food business. He is also investing heavily in green hydrogen and airports.
