Revanth Reddy Suspects KTR’s Role In Drugs Case:- TS TD leader Revanth Reddy lashed out at IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), on the first day of Assembly Session. The TDP MLA, after the adjournment of the House, accused the TRS government of deliberately avoiding the drugs case and is acting one-sidedly in the assembly.
The government intentionally adjourned the assembly when it was his turn to ask question on drugs issue, alleged Revanth Reddy. The MLA at the media point said, “Government has discussed the first 7 questions in Today’s session. My Question is 8th in the list. The moment the query raised by Me arrived, The House had been adjourned. At least, the Government should have offered a written reply to the question I had asked”.

In promoting the narcotics trade, Minister K T Rama Rao’s brother-in-law Raj Pakala is involved, alleged Reddy. “Apart from the school, where KTR’s Son studies, drugs have been supplied to various other schools and colleges in Hyderabad. Why SIT hasn’t been revealing the details of investigation to the people? Samples of blood, nails and hair strands must be collected from all those who were involved in the case. I had the suspicion that KTR relies on drugs. There is no response when I leveled allegations against KCR Family. KTR had kept the drugs case on hold for the sake of his brother-in-law Raj Pakala. He has done many things to see happiness in the eyes of his brother-in-law”.
The Kodangal MLA said that permission to more pubs was given by the TRS government, than the previous governments in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. Revanth deplored the government for giving permission to David Guetta concert. He asked, why did Telangana government give permission, when permission was denied in Mumbai, Goa and Bengaluru fearing drug abuse and harassment against women? The TTDP leader said that the government is giving permission recklessly, only to benefit the firm “Events now”, run by KTR’s brother-in-law.
To avoid the discussion use of narcotics fearing that some big names in the government will be exposed, the government is hatching a conspiracy, said Revanth. He further recalled that Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy accused him of going to clubs, when he raised the drugs issue.
