Film : Aadu Magaadra Bujji Producer : M Subbareddy, S N Reddy Director : Krishnareddy Gangadhasuu Star Cast : Sudheer Babu, Poonam Kaur, Ashmitha Sood.. Music Director : Sri Kommineni Rating: 2.5/5 Aadu Magadra Bujji is release today. It is a romantic thriller and entertainer with good comedy. Sudheer Babu played lead role in the film who debuted with ‘Yem maya Chesave’ as heroine’s brother. He became popular with ‘Prema Katha Chitram’. Rediff   Not yet rated... Story Siddhu (Sudheer Babu) who is a non-serious guy always engaged in making fun of others falls in love with Indu (Asmita Sood). As Indu’s bother Cherry (Ranadheer) becomes a problem in his love he distracts him by introducing Anjali (Poonam Kaur). His plan works out and Cherry and Anjali fall in love with each other and it makes it easy to Siddhu to try his luck with Indu. But the twist is Anjali’s uncle Bujji who wants to marry Anjali kills Cherry. As it happened because of him, Siddhu feels for it and wants to revenge on Bujji who is a politician with muscle men around. Analysis : The movie’s first part has gone smoothly and the twist also made it interesting. But some dull and slow sequences in the second half have reduced the marks scored by the movie till then. Songs appeared all of a sudden just like that without a proper making a mood to the audience. Comedy sequences are good. In fact all the scenes are good but the continuity is missing. Krishna Bhagawan’s comedy with dog is hilarious. Performance : Sudheer Babu proved with this movie that he is an all rounder to take any challenging role. But only defect is his voice that does not go well with his masculine figure. Asmita Sood and Poonam Kaur gave justice to their respective roles. Music is ok. Director Krishna Reddy’s talent is visible in making the scenes production rich but they did not contribute to the overall movie’s success. Although playing a mind game with the villain by entering his den is an old theme, the director could make it interesting again successfully. Final Word: This movie can be watched once as there is no other big or good movie available in the theaters at present. {slideshow}images/reviewslideshows/AaduMagaadraBujji{/slideshow} (AW-SriJa)

R...Rajkumar Movie Review December 06, 2013 19:06

Film : R...Rajkumar Producer : Viki Rajani, Sunil Lulla Director : Prabhu Deva Star Cast : Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonu Sood... Music Director : Pritam, Sandeep Chowta Rating: 2/5 Prabhu Dheva directed R...Rajkumar is an action movie in a small-town set-up where violence for the sake of revenge is exaggerated. Other Ratings Average Movie Rating   AVG:2/5 Sify 1.5/5 So you’re supposed... So the very ‘dabangg’ Rajkumar arrives       Deccan 1.5/5 To be fair... The Times of India 3/5 A rowdy Romeo... BharatStudent 1.5/5 A stale tale... Rediff 1.5/5 Romeo Rajkumar is... Story : The plot of 'R...Rajkumar' revolves around R...Rajkumar (Shahid Kapoor) whose mission in life is to kill a rival drug dealer. In the process R...Rajkumar meets Chanda (Sonakshi Sinha) who is the drug dealer's niece. R...Rajkumar falls in love with Chanda and the story complicates with more battering and violence. Analysis : The 'R' in the title 'R...Rajkumar' was originall meant to be Rambo. But it was not used due to copyright issues. Now it's Romeo. Actually it would be apt to term Shahid Kapoor as road romeo in the film as the attire and act of R...Rajkumar is no less. He has a head full of streaked hair, stubble, swinging fists and puckered lips. He thrusts his pelvis while mouthing crass dialogues. His idea of romance is to harass his love interest into submission. And revenge for him means to batter the enemy till he's covered in blood. Sonakshi in the role of Chanda looks repitative. She must have herself been confused which film she is shooting, for the set looks similar to all her previous movies. The film's cast also includes Ashish Vidyarthi, Sonu Sood, and Telugu actor Srihari. Sonu Sood as the typical village thakur who kills hapless villagers and has a love-interest in Sonakshi. Ashish Vidyarthi is the drug dealer with whom Shahid has to take revenge. But it's not clear why Vidyarthi appears topless so many times, a sight that is not pleasant. The second half has nothing but mindless violence and battering of the goons. The only thing to look forward in 'R...Rajkumar' is the song 'gandi baat', that too has been shown in trailers. Performance : Shahid Kapoor in the role of R...Rajkumar is unimpressive, he tries hard to emulate the easy charm of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar but fails miserably. Sonakshi Sinha plays the love interest of R...Rajkumar. She pouts and swings her waist like she has done in all her films in her brief career in bollywood. Sonu Sood as the typical 'thakur' of bollywood has a menacing presence. Ashish Vidyarthi as Sonakshi's uncle and the drug dealer plays the role of a typical villian. Final Word:Go for it if you love crass dialogues and the song 'gandi baat'. R...Rajkumar Releases on 6th Dec 2013 {slideshow}images/reviewslideshows/RRajkumar{/slideshow} (AW:Pratima Tigga)

Aata Aarambam Movie Review December 06, 2013 12:02

Film : Aata Aarambam Producer : Srinu Babu.G Director : Vishnuvardhan Star Cast : Ajith Kumar, Arya, Nayantara, Taapsee Pannu.. Music Director : Yuvan Shankar Raja Rating: 2.5/5 Vishnuvardhan directorial Aata Aarambam is a movie of Ajith from the beginning to the end. He is seen in the anti role of a dutiful person with pepper and salt look. The plot of the movie is inspired by Mumbai 9/11 violence. Other Ratings Average Movie Rating   AVG: 2.5/5 Sify   Not yet rated.. ...   Deccan Not yet rated... The Times of India Not yet rated... BharatStudent   3.25/5 A stylish tale... Rediff   Not yet rated... Story Ashok (Ajith) is a former bomb dispoals specialist worked for Maharashtra Anti Terrism Squad wants take revenge on the Maharashtra State Home Minister (Mahesh Manjrekar) who is the cause for the cancerous illegal activities conducted through the police force. Ashok gets support from Maya (Nayantara) and Arju (Arya). It has to be seen on the screen how the vengeance is carried out and it was countered. Analysis : The stunt and chase sequences are captured with dexterity. Rana featuring with Ajith in the second half is captivating. Yuvan’s back ground music and tunes are not up to the mark. In order to make the film commercial the director seems to have allowed some mistakes creep in to the movie. It is not a flawless story but we are used to the dramatizing effects our Indian directors give to the action based movies also. Performance : Ajith’s action is superb. If at all the movie’s blunders are pardoned it will be due to Ajith’s acting talent and mannerisms on the screen. Rana, Nayantara, Mahesh Manjrekar have given excellent performance. Tapsy as a journalist played her part well. Arya is energetic as ever. Final Word:The movie “Aata Aarambam” can be watched once to get the thrill of action sequences in the movie particularly of Ajith. If you don’t look critically for the faults in the movie, you will enjoy it excepting a scene or two that may look dull. But overall impression you get is that the movie is a good one if you don’t think of how better it could have been made. {slideshow}images/reviewslideshows/AataAarambam{/slideshow} (AW-SriJa)
