Govt biased in Sadak arrests: JP

Lok Satta party MLA and former bureaucrat, Jaya Prakash Narayana has lashed out at the government today in the assembly over the statement made on Sadak Bandh arrests. He questioned as to why indifference was meted out to only two legislators. He allegedly made serious comments on the government and said that government had been biased in terms of arresting leaders in connection with Sadak Bandh. While many people took part in Sadak Bandh, why only Eetela Rajender and Jupally Krishna Rao were only arrested, questioned Jaya Prakash Narayana.

Another legislator, Shobha Nagi Reddy too took on the government and demanded that the arrested MLAs should be released. She said that people have the right to express their opinion in a democratic country. Further, she alleged that government's rule was similar to British Raj. All in all, it looked like Sadak Bandh kept Congress in a fix.
