After Chiranjeevi becoming the Minister of State for tourism (independent charge), the tourism industry in the country changed for good, if we have to go by what observers say. Thanks to him for the constant efforts he has been taking for giving new dimensions to tourism industry. As a part of this effort, Chiranjeevi today met the union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and discussed with him matters pertaining to visa to foreign tourists.

Chiranjeevi asked Sushil Kumar Shinde to provide on arrival visa to the tourists. As of now tourists from 13 countries are provided on arrival visa. In addition to that Chiranjeevi has asked to provide on arrival visa for 17 other countries. It was reported that Shinde responded positively to the suggestions of Chiranjeevi.
