Bodies of US accident victims taken to native places

USAAccedentThe dead bodies of three of the four Telugu persons, killed in a road accident in Southfield City near Detroit, USA on Oct 22, had arrived at Hyderabad Friday night.

The killed were identified as Satyendra Akula (30), native of Bhimavaram, Sumant Rajan (32) of Visakhapatnam, Venkatachalam Pasala (28) of Tadepalligudem, and his father-in-law Rajendra Prasad Jonnala (50).

Relatives and friends received the dead bodies at the Samshabad airport near Hyderabad. The bodies were immediately taken to their respective native places.

The four persons died on the spot as their vehicle was hit by another vehicle plying on the wrong side of the road. The two vehicles burst into flames. The Southfield Police have not yet completed their investigation into the case to find out if the accident had occurred due to drunken driving.

Satyendra, Sumant and Venkatachalam were working as IT consultants in Detroit.
