T men slap Seema Andhra Minister

Thota1Minister Thota Narasimham, hailing from the Jaggampeta constituency in East Godavari district, was heckled and attacked by T supporters Thursday morning. A section of the media said one of the agitators even slapped him when the minister refused to say Jai Telangana.

The minister was returning to Hyderabad from Kakinada along with 2 former MLAs Dora Babu and Chittebbai and PRP MLA Mr Nani, all from the Seema Andhra region, by the Gowthami express Thursday morning. But the T protestors stopped the train at Intikanne station near Nekkonda in Warangal district as part of the Rail Roko.

The minister, after a wait of two hours, asked for the officials to arrange a vehicle for him to reach Hyderabad. When the Minister was returning by road and reached Nekkonda railway station area, the waiting T agitators had spotted his Innova car and pelted stones damaging it. They stopped the vehicle and asked him to say Jai Telangana. He however refused to say so despite the heated argements.

The agitators then manhandled him and one of the T men even slapped on his face, according to reports. Police, who were less in number at the spot, however came to his rescue and took him to safety and made him sit in another car. He was then taken to Hyderabad with enough police protection.

At one more place en route to Hyderabad, the Telangana agitators waited for his car so that they can attack him but police who got wind of their plans took him to Hyderabad through another route. The minister finally reached Hyderabad safely.

The police had later arrested some persons for the attack on the Minister. The railway police also had booked some cases against the agitators, according to reports.
