The death of Mayuri, daughter of the Secunderabad congress MP Mr Anjan kumar yadav’s brother, was confirmed as suicide by the Hyderabad police today.

 

Police said this after studying the post mortem report of Mayuri who was found dead at her house at Rayadurgam in Serilingampally Saturday night. But it is suspected that Mayuri committed suicide unable to bear the harassment from her husband and the in-laws for more dowry.

 

Meanwhile, the relatives of the girl have alleged that Mayuri was murdered by the husband and in-laws and the death was not a result of suicide. “Husband Arjun and his parents murdered our daughter for dowry. We want a full fledged inquiry into this,” they said.

 

The relatives of the girl attacked her in-laws house and damaged furniture and other items in the house.
