Bollywood newcomer Tia Bajpai has accused her film ‘Lanka’s director Maqbool Khan of cheating her during the shooting of the film and threatened to take legal action against him if he went ahead with the release of the film.

Crying hoarse at the way some of the hot scenes were shot for the film, she said she has okayed the script after the director promised her to shoot such scenes aesthetically.

“During the shooting, I was really uncomfortable and I was shocked to see the edited version in which I was shown in the most vulgar manner really,” she told journalists today in Mumbai.

She said she has a copy of the bound script with her and there was no mention of such scenes in the script. “There was no mention of such scenes in my contract also,” she said threatening to take legal steps to ensure that the film is not released in the way it was made.

She said she argued vehemently with the director against the presence of almost half the village in one of her bathroom scenes. “I thought only crew members would be present there but half the villagers came there,” she said.

She said she acted in rape scenes in her debut film Haunted but just because of that she couldn’t be shown like that in her present movie. If they go ahead with the release without removing those scenes, I will surely approach a court,” she said threateningly.
