Patna Pirates Beat Dabang Delhi KC 32-31

Dabang Delhi KC, who were ahead throughout the game could not pull win against Patna Pirates at Game 52 of fourth edition of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League on Monday at Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi.  

Patna Pirates are at the top of the table with scoring 52 points in 10 wins out of 13 and with their qualification hopes resting on the performances of the other teams, Dabang Delhi KC are at seventh position with 27 points in 4 wins.

In the first half, Dabang Delhi KC immediately after the start send Pradeep Narwal out of the game to level the 1-1 after Rajesh Mondal opened the account fro Patna Pirates. In the sixth minute Kashiling Adake scored points to provide 4-3 lead to his team. But counter attack from Rajesh Mondal ensured Patna Pirates leveling the score at 4-4 in the seventh minute. After 11 minutes, scores were 6-6. Star raider Pradeep Narwal who could not score till the first 12 minute went on to score a bonus point in 14th minute with Patna Pirates leading 9-7. Kashiling Adake saved an all out of his team and scored points as his team were trailing 11-13 after 16 minutes. Two back to back super tackles provided 16-14 lead to Delhi KC at the end of the first half.

Later, in the second half, Patna Pirates, managed to level the score at 16-16 after 22 minutes. Patna Pirates missed 4th chance of scoring an all out on Delhi KC as Meraj Sheykh came between them and scored points to lead 21-19 after 25 minutes. Dabang Delhi KC’s Meraj Shyekh were giving a top class performance as he went on scoring and proving firm leads to his team. In the 29th minute Patna Pirates successfully scored their first all out of the game on Delhi KC to lead 26-25. They even sent Meraj Sheykh out of the game to lead 27-25. But Kashiling Adake scored a supoer raid and provided 31-29 lead in the 31st minute. Pradeep Narwal scoring good points leveled the score at 31-31 in the 38th minute and at the end inflicted a tackle to win 32-31.
