Yoga can support and prevent women from breast cancer. Yoga can make a person strong physically, mentally and emotionally. Here are three yoga asanas that can be tried at home to avoid the risk of breast cancer:
Chakrasana or backend:
Prefer to lie down on your back and fold the legs on your knees. Your soles should be placed firmly on the floor and close to your buttocks. Your palms should face the sky. Relax your neck and allow your head to hang behind gently. Hold on till you are comfortable and release by bending your arms and legs. Lie down in Shavasana for a few minutes and resume it again. Always perform this asana only when your stomach is empty.
Dhanurasana or bow pose:
Lie down on your stomach and keep your feet apart. They should be parallel to your hips. Fold your knees up and keep your hands backward to hold your ankles. Inhale in and lift your chest and pull your legs. Breathe deeply and stay on the pose for 12-15 seconds. Then bring your chest and legs back to the ground on a slow pace.
Keep a distance of 3-4 feet between your legs and keep your hands on your hips. Stretch your spine and lift your chest and slowly fold your legs. Then slowly stretch your torso forward and place your hands flat on the floor. Then place them for shoulder width apart. Fold deeper and bring your head towards the floor.
