Zoom fatigue has a huge impact in Women:- The coronavirus pandemic shattered the daily plans of everyone and most of them are restricted to their homes. Most of them are carrying the work stress for hours beyond their shifts and are missing the regular workout sessions. Meetings from home-generated a lot of stress among the working men and women. This is impacting women more than men and is named Zoom fatigue. This is named after the exhaustion created through online meetings and they have impacted one among seven women which is 13.8 percent. They are feeling extremely fatigued during the online calls as per the study from the Stanford University. The study is published in the journal Technology, Mind and Behaviour.

Around 10,322 women participated in the survey that took place in February and March. This happened due to the excessive spending for video conferences and online meetings through Zoom calls. The data clearly shows that women are impacted more than men, told Jeffrey Hancock, professor of communication in the School of Humanities and Sciences. He is also the co-author of the study. Self-focused attention is the major reason for the exhaustion in women. Zoom fatigue is also found to take place due to the lack of physical movement.
