Experts in a detailed report said around 60 per cent of the women drop their career in the middle due to their personal and family liabilities. Also the study said women after reaching mid-managerial levels struggle in their professional career and family responsibilities will increase which forces them to drop their career in the middle.
However, in any field companies would like to hire more women rather than men because empowerment of women ultimately benefits society at large. Also certain institutes gave called for pro-gender policies and ensure equal participation of women and men in decision making process at all levels.
This is a good sign from organizations but will women change their mind and get to back. We have to wait till next survey then.
