Delhi rape incident has moved not just India but the entire globe. Even in the United States of America, a large number of Indians gathered at several association offices and paid tributes to the brave heart who battled with life for about 13 days and breathed her last in the last week of December, 2012. Even US news papers are closing following this case following the uproar it has been creating in the United States too.

Recently, this rape was condemned at Hamilton City Hall wherein a large number of Indians and Americans took part. Mr Rama Singh, who was one of the main organizers of this event, has told that he had not been sleeping well lately ever since he learned about the heinous crime. Further, he has also said that the situation was more or less the same with everyone. The people present over at the meeting have paid condolences to the bereaved family. Let us hope that crimes against women will not take place at least from this year-2013. For the same to happen, we should all condemn as and when we come across even jokes and underlined statements aimed at derogating women.
