Countdown has begun for one of the most prestigeous programmes by Telugus in North America. The first ever grand ceremony by North American Telugu Association (NATA) will start in sometime from now. NATA's first convention brings all Telugus from various fields on to one platform to witness one of world's biggest functions.

The three day convention, which will start on June 29 will conclude on July 1. At least 7000 dignitaries from US and Canada are expected to take part in the event. George R. Brown Convention Centre in Houston has been beautifully decorated. The three-day long event will host several cultural events. Several prominent people from AP have been invited for taking part in the convention. They include actor Balakrishna and top music directors. Not just cultural programmes, but several renowned medical doctors are all set to give seminars during the convention.

NATA made all steps to serve delicious Telugu food at the convention. The NATA representatives have told AndhraWishesh that around six varieties of Telugu meals would be served, which would be yummy to the core. There would be 36 hours of entertainment besides many sporting events. It's also a good opportunity to meet Telugu friends after a long gap.
