13 Indians die in Nepal plane crash

This week began with a pathetic accident in Nepal. As per reports the Agni Air Dornier 9N AIG hit a Hillside just before landing at Jomsom airport in north central Nepal, on Monday.  Of the nineteen killed in this dastardly accident seven are Indians say reports. The Indian nationals were on way to the Muktinath Temple, a sacred site for Hindus and Buddhists in Mustang. Indian Embassy officials in Kathmandu confirmed that 13 of those killed were Indians. The pilot and co-pilot, both Nepali, also died in the accident.

They thirteen Indians are Mr K Mahanya, Mr S K Arora, Mr M Handa, Ms M Arora, Ms R Handa, Mr K O Arora, Ms T Sachdev, Ms G Sachdev, Mr Saniam Sudhar, Mr G Raman, Ms Latha Echambadi, Mr Kumar and Ms Kumar.

Luckily three Indians survived the crash and they were identified as Tirumala Kidambi Shrikanth (40) and his children Tirumala Kidambi Shrivaadhani (9-year-old daughter) and Tirumala Kidambi Shripad (6-year-old son). In addition to two Dannes and the Nepali Air hostess, who were rescued from the crash site.  (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
