Analysis :

Director Maruthi is known for raw films and this time he came with a clean movie. The basic plot is good but lack of ground work is a demerit. Though the screenplay follows at good pace, the climax gets predictable and ends on a happy note. In Maruthi films we expect more entertainment but there is forced comedy in this film which makes the audience yawn.

Performance :

Sirish is good but like his debut movie, he needs to work on expressions and body language. Sirish also lacks comedy timing unlike his brother Allu Arjun.

Regina is the show stealer, she did really perform well and has all the abilities to reach the top league of Tollywood.

There are too many small time actors in this film.

Final Word: Kotha Janta offers nothing new, a one time watcher and Regina might appeal to the young.
