And the hawaa of the movie has definitely moved on to the sequel as well.even before it’s launch of the shooting, Salman Khan's much-awaited Dabangg 2's satellite rights have been snapped up for a record of Rs 48-50 crore by Star Network for 11 years, a trade source (close to the deal) informed a leading daily.
Star Gold's senior vice-president refused to share the details of the deal and the price with the leading daily. Earlier HrithikRoshan'sKrissh and the Shahrukh Khan's Don 2 were sold to Sony for Rs 37 crore each. Aamir Khan's Talaash and Karan Johar'sAgneepath went for Rs 40 crore, as reports say.
It is also known that the music rights were sold for over Rs 10 crore by T-Series. Salman who recently got back from Cuba where he was shooting for his upcoming movie EkTha Tiger, will be be starting with the shooting for Dabangg 2 next week in Mumbai.
