Working with Pawan is a pleasant experience - Kriti Karbanda
‘Teen Maar’, the remake of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ has opened to full houses in entire AP and overseas. As the talks of this movie becoming a hit make rounds in the circle, the jubilant heroine, Kriti Karbanda, who played the role of Vasumathi chatted with the press. A few excerpts are:
Kriti claims the days and occasions working with Pawan Kalyan as pleasant experience. After her debut through ‘Boni’, it took quite a bit of time for her to resurface in Tollywood through ‘Teen Maar’ which she considers herself as lucky one.
On her role in ‘Teen Maar’ she said that it was a very simple but expressive role which has received much appreciations from whoever has seen the movie. The role doesn’t have many dialogues but communication through expressions and emotions. Infact, she went to the extent of quoting some comments from viewers appreciating her role looking like a real lover of Pawan Kalyan.
On her experience with her co-star Pawan Kalyan she said that he has proved wrong the cautioning from many that he was a very reserved person. She confirms to have enjoyed the every moment of the 37 days of her shooting time and conveyed her deep desire to do more films with him.
On the director Jayanth C Paranjee she said that Jayanth was aware of her much before this film and infact offered a role while she was busy shooting for ‘Boni’. It was due to objections from the director Ramana Gogula that she could not accept the offer of Jayanth earlier. She thanked Jayanth for the present offer which she got after meeting him couple of times.
On her entry into the films she said that it was something like a dream comes true for a Delhi born Bangalore brought up B.Com graduate. She attributed her getting chance in movies through Trisha’s recommendation which made it possible in ‘Boni’. And thus she expressed her happiness in doing the 2nd film with the same well wisher.
On favourite stars, she was too quick to say the names of Jyothika and Trisha.
Kriti claims to have received appreciations for her traditional look in half-saree and felt very happy for such a reward for her hard work. She finally expressed her hopes of receiving more offers due to this role.
