It is during this time he falls in love with Manasa (Kashmira). Soon, Satya (Yamini Bhaskar) finds place in his life and the rest of Nartanasala is all about the consequences Shaurya faces because of the two love stories. Watch Nartanasala to know about what happens next.
Nartanasala starts off on a dull note and offers nothing big in content. The entertainment at times impresses the audience and the songs have been shot well. Though Naga Shaurya and Sivaji Raja performed well, their characters haven't been penned well. The love story too fails to impress the audience. The interval episodes look good and are well presented. On the whole, the entire first half is a disappointment except the interval episodes.
The second half of Nartanasala is a bunch of mixed bag as the film has been laced with unwanted stuff. Once again, the entertainment takes the lead but the film fails to stand tall with the content. With a boring plot and outdated narration, the entire second half ends up as a huge disappointment. The performances by the lead actors stand out but they could not save the film.
Naga Shaurya who is one of the finest actors when it comes to deliver entertainment performed well. The actor playing a gay will be accepted by a section of audience and he has been decent in the assignment. Kashmira and Yamini Bhaskar had limited screen presence but they performed well. Sivaji Raja plays a full length role in the movie and excelled in the comic scenes. Jayaprakash Reddy is a treat and is one of the major highlights. All the other actors have been good.
Nartanasala doesn't have any interesting plot. The screenplay and dialogues look outdated. The music has been decent and the background score elevates the film well. The cinematography work will receive wide response and the production values have been grand. Debutant Srinivas Chakravarthi fails in all the available ways in delivering out an impressive product.
Nartanasala Final Word
Naga Shaurya's Nartanasala ends up as a massive disappointment as the film offers nothing new and interesting.
