Rana Daggubati To Play Hiranyakashipu In His Next Flick?:- If you are a fan of the handsome and much-loved Rana Daggubati aka Bhallaladeva, then we have some awesome news in store for you.
According to a leading website, the young actor has been roped in to act in noted filmmaker latest directorial venture of Gunasekhar. The film will be quite an expensive affair, as it is likely to be shot on a grand scale.
In the upcoming movie, Rana is likely to the play the role of Hiranyakashipu. If this is indeed the case then Rana appears to have bagged quite a rewarding project indeed.
In case you did not know, Rana was last seen in the epic drama “Baahubali 2”. Directed by ace director, SS Rajamouli, the film revolved around the war between two brothers over an ancient kingdom. A sequel to the 2015 release ‘Baahubali’, the film hit screens this April and opened to a thunderous response at the ticket window. In it, Rana played the role of the cruel antagonist Bhallaladeva and won hearts. All thanks to his crackling or believable chemistry with Prabhas.
Currently, the 32-year-old is gearing up for the release of ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri. It is a political-thriller and features Rana in the role of a politician. Besides him, the film features Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa in the lead. Its teaser was released a while ago and created a buzz in the industry.
On a related note, Gunasekar’s last directorial venture was ‘Rudramadevi’. Released in 2015, it was a historical drama and featured Anushka Shetty in the nominal role.
