According to recent reports, the Malayalam star has donned the coat of an advocate for one of his colleagues, Telugu actress Indraja from the industry. She has been in the court regarding a case for a long time now. Regarding some financial transactions, the actress had differences with her manager and both the parties filed cases against each other, which eventually led to the battle taken to the court.
On learning this, Mammootty took up the case voluntarily and fought the case on behalf of the actress and went to win the case for her. After Mammootty took up the case, the actress won the case, which was for long time pending in the court.
The actor essayed the role of an advocate in his films like Narasimham, Twenty:20 and Harikrishnans, and was widely appreciated for his performance in those roles.
Since, he had studied law in real life, it became easy for him to understand the system and a mannerism of a lawyer came out naturally to him.
On the work front, Mammootty is presently working on a film title “Masterpiece”, which is being directed by Ajai Vasudev and will also begin work on his next untitled film directed by Shyamdhar.
