Power Star Pawan Kalyan, the undisputed king of Tollywood, maintains a strategy in films, which is tough to understand. Let us make a short but detailed analysis about it.

When Sruthi Haasan was opted as the heroine for Gabbar Singh, she was considered as the iron leg, as none of her movies are successful, before Gabbar Singh. So obviously, no maker dares to pick her, into his films.

But on the contrary, Pawan Kalyan was strict about his decision and agreed to land Sruthi in Gabbar Singh, after director Harish Shankar, put the request before Pawan. After Gabbar Singh blockbuster, Sruthi Haasan turned as one of the leading heroines in Tollywood, and is even able to grab big offers in Bollywood.

Now, just like Sruthi Haasan’s situation in the past, the makers are threatened about the flop sentiment of sequel or the scripts, made on the similar lines of the earlier hit film.  
 
Most of such films in Tollywood, had not witnessed the success in the industry. Shankar Dada Zindabad, Arya 2, Rakta Charitra 2, Gayam 2, Nagavalli, Kick 2 etc, faced a tough time.

The notable point is, the first part of all the films mentioned above, are the blockbusters. That is making them to commit to do another film, on the similar story line.

Now Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh movie is also following the same logic. As Gabbar Singh movie is a huge success, Sardaar Gabbar Singh movie is being made on the similar hero characterization and mannerisms.

Hope the luck favors to the so called sequels, just like it favored Sruthi Haasan, with Pawan Kalyan’s support and thus give a hope to the makers to bring back their old movie line as a new movie.  

Sardaar Gabbar Singh unit is currently in Gujarat. Kajal joined the shoot and some love scenes between the the lead couple are being shot. The film is heading for the summer release.
