Suriya's film is all set for Bollywood:- Tamil actor Suriya has been struggling for success from some time and the top actor is back with a bang with Soorarai Pottru. The film was also released in Telugu as Aakasame Nee Haddhu Raa. Soorarai Pottru had a direct digital release through Amazon Prime considering the coronavirus pandemic situations. The film is the third highest-rated Indian film ever on IMDB and is the best-rated film among the 2020 Indian releases. Sudha Kongara directed the movie and Aparna Balamurali played the leading lady. Suriya's production house 2D Entertainment bankrolled Soorarai Pottru and they made huge profits.

Soorarai Pottru is now remade in Hindi and the makers made an official announcement about the same. Sudha Kongara who directed the original will direct the film and the scriptwork is on. The lead actor has to be finalized and an official announcement will be made soon. Suriya's 2D Entertainment along with Abundantia Entertainment will produce the film jointly. Soorarai Pottru is based on the story of Air Deccan Chief GR Gopinath who created a sensation in the Indian aviation industry. Suriya is all excited about the remake and his wife Jyotika will overlook the production responsibilities of the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru.
