Karan Johar returns back to Direction after 5 years:- Veteran director and producer Karan Johar is all set to return back to direction after five complete years. The details about his next directorial are made official today and the film is titled Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will play the lead roles in this romantic entertainer and the film is expected to have its theatrical release in 2022. There are talks that veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shaban Azmi will be seen in other prominent roles in this romantic drama.

Karan Johar last directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016 and he has been away from direction though his production house Dharma Productions bankrolled several biggies over these years. Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy penned the script of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The shoot of the film commences soon. Karan Johar earlier directed movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Name Is Khan, Student of the Year and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the past.
