Rashmika to Romance Akhil?:- Akhil Akkineni is yet to taste his success after three back to back flops. He is shooting for Most Eligible Bachelor in the direction of Baskar. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady and the film releases for Sankranthi 2021. Akhil's next film has been announced recently and it will be directed by top director Surendar Reddy. Touted to be an action entertainer, the film is planned on a budget of Rs 45 crores. The announcement created waves across social media and the regular shoot of the film will start early next year.

Surendar Reddy is finetuning the script and he is finalizing the actors, technicians. The latest speculation says that Tollywood sensation Rashmika Mandanna is holding talks to romance Akhil in this untitled action film. Akhil plays the role of a spy in this film. Anil Sunkara will produce the project on AK Entertainments banner. Akhil is quite confident on the film and the project releases during the second half of 2021.
