Parasuram is the director and the film will start rolling this year from September or October depending up on the normalcy of coronavirus. Parasuram is giving final touches to the script currently. The film was set in USA backdrop initially but it is now changed and the entire film will be shot in India. Parasuram and his team are finalizing the lead actress for Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

As per the latest news, Kiara Advani will romance Mahesh Babu in this action entertainer. The duo worked for Bharat Ane Nenu in the past and this is the second time, they are teaming up together. The actress has a number of Bollywood projects and she was not signing Telugu movies. But when it is beside Mahesh Babu, Kiara Adavi gave her nod. Upendra plays the lead villain in the film which is all about a bank scam. Sarkaru Vaari Paata also has a strong social message. Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus are the producers.
