Venkatesh's Asuran Remake Updates:- Victory Venkatesh is all set to step into the shoes of the remake of Tamil blockbuster Asuran. The movie is said to be a rustic action drama set in the backdrop of a village in Tamil Nadu. Dhanush essayed the lead role in Asuran which is directed by Vetrimaaran. Impressed with the film's content, Suresh Babu acquired the remake rights of the film and he will co-produce the remake along with the film's original producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. Venkatesh will reprise the role of Dhanush in this action thriller.

As per the update, Hanu Raghavapudi who delivered a series of duds recently has been finalized as the director for the film. The pre-production work of Asuran remake started recently and the makers are in plans to start the shoot from January 2020. The female lead and other technicians will be finalized soon. A team of writers are busy with the script of the film. Venky will be seen essaying a new look in Asuran remake. The film may release during the second half of 2020.
